Decorating Pumpkins

Whew! I am so glad last week is over!  I had walking pneumonia and, honestly, felt like I was going to die.  After several days on the couch doing very little, I am finally starting to feel a little better.

During the end of my illness, I did manage to decorate a few faux pumpkins for the house.

I started with an orange foam pumpking and some washi tape.

I just used the washi tape to create "stripes" on the pumpkin.

From there, I grabbed some toilet paper and yarn.  I wrapped the yarn around the toilet paper.

I'm still working on making it outside to find a stick for the top of it :)

The last one was the work of another roll of toilet paper and some fabric.

The fabric is what we'll be using to create throw pillows for the family room sofa.  I simply wrapped it around the toilet paper.

The washi tape pumpkin has found a home in the hallway with another project I had been working on (tutorial tomorrow).

The other ones are hanging out on the mantle in the family room.
